powertabs.net is the home of guitar players aiming at putting the art of transcription to a higher level, but has been closed by the MPA UK on March 20, 2008 due to copyright concerns. Legal damage costs issued by the lawyers summed up to USD 5000, but have been donated back by the community! However, powertabs.net will be back on an official, MPA-accepted basis as soon as we manage to handle all the legal issues and commercial agreements with the respective right holders! Please note that the recent survey (thanks to everyone who contributed) might have hinted that you might have to pay for downloading tabs. Please rest assured that this will never be the case. The royalties will be payed by premium advertising!

Delay of enabled downloads

We are aware that the delay of re-enabled downloads caused some anger among guitarists eagerly waiting for the community to be back again. While we sincerely apologize for the delay, we still hope that you are aware that we are working hard on a comfortable solution for everyone.
